I have read several threads from gentlemen who have mentioned that the detectability of Dr. Elist's implant is a major concern. As someone who doesn't have an issue with a cone-shaped penis, I'm aware I don't hold the popular opinion when it comes to the ideal penis. However, once again, I find myself in the minority when it comes to the detectability of the implant.
The majority of women with breast implants aren't concerned if a man can tell they have fake breasts once their top comes off and there isn't a shortage of men willing to be with these women. I plan to have the surgery performed later this year and when a woman asks about my pubic scar, I intend to be honest. Why would it be difficult for you gentlemen with concerns to simply say, "I wanted a bigger penis." Not all men are naturally blessed in that department. Having a big penis isn't something you earn or develop through your experiences. Gentlemen, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't imagine the majority of women will care. Sure, she might tell a friend or two, which may be beneficial for you if the friend is curious, but I don't see the big deal. If the woman you're with is like the women I've ran into, she might even be impressed that you had $10,000 to spend on a bigger penis. |

I've wondered the same thing. I don't think that it's exactly the same as women having breast implants. Woman do "cosmetic" and "enhancing" things that are socially acceptable for them, but not for a man. Like a facelift, women do it and talk about it, but men rarely do them and then it's hushed when they do. It's just not as okay for us to do those things. I think that society thinks that men are supposed to be confident and comfortable with themselves, and maybe this is perceived as weak vanity ... just thinking out loud. I don't worry about it. At 50 years old, I guess I just don't care if someone has a problem with it. lol

Hey Florida: Don't worry about what society thinks! There are lots of guys who have cosmetic surgery. I know a lot of them, myself included. Guys get face lifts so that they can still seem young in the workplace, whereas women get them to enhance their beauty. In other words, men invest.
Good to see your post, like the old days of the old MNS. |

Earlier this week, I scheduled my surgery with Dr. Elist for next month. I've been waiting for this moment for almost a year now when I first saw the photographs of Yale P.
I wish some of the older material regarding what to expect post operation were still available from the old forum. My inadequacies have stopped me from being physical with women since October 2008. I'm just hoping Dr. Elist can stuff my penis with as much implant that can fit. I intend to tell him that aesthetics should come secondary to size. For those of you who have met with Dr. Elist, how does Slyvia, the office manager, look? I like the way her voice sounds on the telephone. |

Hey Mango -
Good luck. You don't want Dr. Elist to do anything other than the safest augmentation possible. Getting out of this in one piece is the goal. Sylvia appears to be in her late 20's. Nice girl. If you have any preparatory questions please let me know. Best to you, MJ |

Did either of you gentlemen stay at the Elan Hotel courtesy of the surgery center and/or Dr. Elist? If so:
(i) which size room did they book for you, e.g., Executive, Double Executive or Junior Suite; (ii) was there a DVD player and cable in the room; and (iii) would I be able to have a guest visit me without having to stop at the front desk to be announced? |
