Default Giunta/Viel FFT

First of all apologies for what is probably a stupid question. You might have seen my post on Macrolane which led to a 'personal' conclusion that it is not worth it. I have also read Londonlads comments on FFT and his piece from Gary Alter.

What I don't get is that FFT has a very bad rep but there are still surgeons like Giunta and Viel doing it. Giunta I know very little about. Viel only slightly more. The Viels have got a reputation to maintain and allthough they are obviously financially motivated why go through the hassle of PE ops when there are a line of women wanting derma filers and bigger tits.

Also why stick with FFT if there are newer and better alternatives.

Or is there?

The posts I am reading on here and other places re bella and alloderm or Sava's techniques does not give me the impression that there are better alternatives. Not sure about Elist but I know that this procedure is not for me.

If the Viels are performing a couple of hundres PE's a year between them then surely they would be shot dead or have a very bad rep by now. If they are only doing a handful a year then it cant be that financially rewarding in which cas why bother if you are going to get serial complaints.

Just makes no economic sense to me.

Are there any happy FFT's on here or unhappy FFT's that had surgery by Viel or Giunta?

Sorry if this stirs emotion in some. I am just trying to learn more.

In the meantime I am wearing 'slightly' magnifying glasses, Seriously I have never looked bigger! Biceps, Penis the lot! I am buying a pair for my wife for Valentines!

Yours

JAM

From gary Alters site

Girth Enlargement
Girth is increased by injecting fat into the loose tissue under the skin or by inserting strips or sheets of skin and fat (dermal fat grafts) under the skin. These procedures have various advantages and possible complications. Recently, physicians are inserting Alloderm (cadaver skin) to increase the thickness.

At the present time, I am not performing any girth enhancement procedures. Injected fat tends to disappear over time. Large amounts of injected fat can cause penile distortion, fat nodules and lumps, and irregularity. The dermal fat graft procedure works very well most of the time and tends to stay permanently. However, some significant problems can occur, such as curvature and shortening. Alloderm has the advantage of avoiding the donor scar from the dermal fat graft. It is promising, but it is too soon to know if it will permanently last. Alloderm can also become infected or can also cause shortening and possible curvature.

He is probably being a bit polite about the whole thing as its on his site and no one wants to get sued. He seems to suggest that the the fat grafts work well most of the time and not sure about alloderm longterm. Re fat injections he is concerned with absorbtion and the usual lumps/distortion hower he is suggesting this is coincides with large amounts of fat. Giunta and Viel use small amounts (not sure what they used to do but it seems to be the case now). My concern would be absorbtion and leaner individuals may not hold on to much.

there were tons of FFT problem posts before the site was lost. Ginola who had the PLGA I know personally. He had FFT a good few years back and ended up with severe irrelugarities after it absorbed unevenly. Although some of it stayed though over ten years later. Also ask UncleJJJ and Andro24 and LDbraveheart

Imagine this, fat is injected and it not attached to anything. You are putting fat in a place where there is not meant to be fat. Stuff in the body needs a blood supply to remain alive. How can the injected loose fat get an even healthy blood supply? I doubt it can and hence it dies off, sometimes slowly sometimes fast. Once it dies it gets absorbed if it breaks down properly. Sometimes it gets clumped because of bad injection method. Sometimes it bunches because the penis retracts while it is "setting". Now apart from these reasons for fat to disappear, if you were to lose weight generally, the penis is the first place it would go from as the body does not know the penis as a fat store. Also FFT feels soft during erection

regarding the viel economic decisions, think about this. Men in England haven't yet evolved to be like women in America. If we elect to do something and it goes wrong we internalise it rather than go on Oprah and talk about it...there's no point, whats the point of helping others...most of the time it falls on deaf ears anyway. Its embarrasing to admit you tried to fatten your dick let alone you did it and it went wrong or you lost 3k on snake oil. Plus all these surgeons google their name all the time and have web guys deleting posts/ threatening to sue websites that have bad info about them. They have a lot of money so damage control is a big part of the game.

Most people who do the surgery dont come on forums but see and add in the paper/ or had a girlfriend that did some boob surgery by them and hence go for it. Regarding why the Viels still do it...if you were financially orientated and had a monopoly on a male penis market you would not refuse them. Plus there are very few doctors in England that stoop low enough to do this surgery anyway so the men have no alternative either. Almost chicken and egg now when it comes to Viel supply and customers demand.

Also why would they bother to need to find a "temporary" method in Macrolane if they had no issues with FFT.

Im not being funny but with the Pete Burns case it took years for Viel to admit he did anything wrong but still waited until the last minute before it inevitably went to court to pay out a huge amount of money.

Lastly FFT must be the easiest thing for surgeons to do compared to the other invasive methods, yet they don't do it now.

Ask breast enlargement FFT or FFT facial filler treated women...it never lasts

The American Urological Association has declared fat injection and cutting the suspensory ligament neither safe nor effective. The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery says penile fat injection is experimental, with "insufficient data to establish its safety and effectiveness."

Dr Giunta's own website:

Q. ARE THERE ANY LONG TERM ILL SIDE EFFECTS?
A. Presently, there are no known long term ill side effects related to the fat transfer procedure or the lengthening. (BUT WE KNOW THERE ARE, OR IS EVERYONE ELSE LYING?)

Q. ARE THERE ANY GUARANTEES?
A. No. Unfortunately, no one can predict the amount of the fat survival in the fat transfer procedure or the length gain. (SOME TRUTH HERE, MANY REPORTS SAY <30% survival after one year)

Malpractice insurers sometimes cover physicians who perform the lengthening
procedure, but rarely cover them for the fat-injection widening. Mark Gorney,
an executive vice president of Napa, Calif., insurer Doctors Co., calls the
fat injections "a totally ineffective procedure and nothing short of fraud."

Critics, including some professors of urology, say there is no indication
that the lengthening surgery works for everyone, and that fat injections
result in too high a degree of deformities. "I challenge them to stop for a
minute and show us the results based on preoperative and postoperative
measurements," says Harin Padma-Nathan, assistant professor of urology at the
University of Southern California. The lengthening operation "appears to be a
sham operation to date."

Thank you for this well written and informative post (thats Londonlad for you!)! I really apreciate it and yes I am sure I wouldnt have even asked if I had been a member of the old website. I saw one guy on Thunder yesterday who had it done by Giunta and was happy which prompted me to give it another check. Well I am seeing Viel next month re some Gyno I wanted removed in any event I dont have enough body fat for this and normally I am under 9% so dont keep fat well even if I am not trying.

Bollocks with the macrolane though! Thought that could have been the temporary answer.

Default Alloderm

Hey guys.

I spoke with Dr. Reed for over an hour last Friday about his procedures. As most of you probably know, he advocates Alloderm and said that in the eight years that he has been tracking his patients, he hasn't had any of them lose a significant girth in his Alloderm implants.

I knew that he had a good relationship with the Serbian docs and spoke with him about that and some of the concerns that I have about them, etc. He confirmed that he has been to Serbia and both of the docs there had been to Miami 3-4 times and he had a lot of respect for them. According to Dr. Reed, the Alloderm process is a scaffold process as well in as much as the human tissue in the strips from the donor is gone and your own body's cells fill in the space after your capillaries grow in. That's my layman's, dumbed-down explanation. lol

For whatever it's worth, I found Dr. Reed to be informative, helpful, and sincere in our conversation. I liked him. He wasn't opportunistic, and more than once told me that I really don't need the procedure. I was talking to him about having the ligaments cut and later going back for Alloderm.

How do you guys feel about Alloderm?

Yeah, Dr Reed seems to be a good doc. He does phalloplasty, but his practice doesn't rely on it. His blog is informative. I think Allo could be a good girth material. In the right hands. Reed, Rosenthal.... Any other good alloderm docs? Depending on your goals, you may need more than one procedure.
