Anybody know Alter, Reed, or Solomon???

Not sure I can post pix. Take my word for it, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy especially in an erect state. It is scarred at the base and is very lumpy right under the glans and in the middle it now has an s-like curve. Sex is impossible and masturbation is not really pleasant as I hate to hold it or look at it. I will not even shower at the gym/urinate in a public bathroom in front of other men much less let a woman (even a prostitue) see it. It is humiliating. But, several doctors are telling me that at least the lumps can be taken out and that it will look somewhat better. So, there is hope. I am not crazy or suicidal. I was just conned by the guy in Culver City and that is my own fault. I know that some have sued him. But, that is not my style. He didn't put a gun to my head to have it done. I lost a fiance over a small penis and what she did to me made me take the gamble on getting a bigger one. It was a very bad gamble but it was my own mistake and I own it. Now, I'm ready and willing to try to correct as much of that as possible. I'm not pathetic and I don't have cancer or anything else. My life has been okay with a lumpy penis but it has hurt my self esteem and kept me from having a wife and family and basically becoming celibate. Again, my choice but it's not in my "head/brain". It is what it is, however. I know you weren't being an asshole when you said that and you probably are just trying to help. Thank you for that. I spoke with Dr. Reed 2-3 weeks ago on the phone for about an hour. You have to pay him a $250 consultation fee for him to talk to you, but once you've paid it, he's very helpful and answers whatever questions you have. He also told me to call him as often as I need to and that his price includes an in-office consultation. I live about 5 hours from Miami by car, so I'll get there at some point.

He seemed very forthright and honest with me. He said that he once did silicone implants, but said that the failure rate is too high and is not a viable option. He does silicone testicle implants, so he isn't averse to the use of silicone. He advocates alloderm and said that it's essentially the same technology that the Serbian docs are doing, in as much as the alloderm is a temporary structure until your own capillaries invade the space and provide the necessary blood so that your body can produce cells that then fill the space. He's friends with both of the Serbian docs, has been to Serbia a few times and they have been to Miami and met with him. He says that his success rate with alloderm has been high. My dick is 6.5" and fairly thick, so he suggested that I do nothing. He is in business to sell procedures of course, but I didn't feel like he was pushing me to do surgery.

Dr. Elist had a dial-in conference call earlier this month, so I dialed in, listened and asked some questions. There were only two of us on the phone who were contemplating a procedure, and one of his former patients who was a big cheerleader. I had spoken with that guy several months ago on the phone as well. Dr. Elist had given me his phone number to chat with him.

As a disclosure, I had testicle implants with Dr. Elist last June, and have been reasonably happy, although the implants are really hard; not natural in that regard at all. They are a good shape and hang naturally, they're big and feel great between my legs .... lol.

Dr. Elist spoke about a near-perfect success rate, and those who have been unsuccessful didn't follow his explicit instructions. He also said that the implant feels perfectly natural. Hmmm. He acted like there are absolutely no down-sides to procedure. I thought it was disingenuous. I really like Dr. E and think that he is a good man, a conscientious doctor, and a very good surgeon. However, I didn't feel comfortable with what he was claiming and can't really explain why he wasn't more forthcoming. As I said, my experience and impressions of him have been good.

Am also considering Alter, Solomon, and Rosenthal.
Do you have any opinions on or experience with them?

Thank you for giving me the benefit of the doubt and not being sensitive about my comment. To clarify, I feel some gentlemen on the forum are looking for the perfect result and anything less, no matter how slight, is a complete failure. When I asked if it was in your head, I was questioning whether there was really an issue worth the reconstruction process and not questioning your sanity. I'm glad you realized that.

In any event, I can relate to your desire to remain celibate. My petty issues with my penis have caused me to develop low self-esteem and I haven't been with a woman physically since President Bush was in office. Considering my present situation, I don't feel I have anything to lose with this surgery. Some of the most successful people have been huge risk takers. If there are complications, then I'll have the same amount of sex that I've been having for the last couple of years, dick (meaning zero; pun intended). More importantly, I respect your mindset regarding your outcome. I wish I was only smart enough to take the stories like yours and informative posts from contributors such as londonlad to skip the surgery and simply build a bridge and get over it.

Not only is hearing this information disheartening, but the fact that I've heard it echoed previously makes it a little worse. Nevertheless, how much do the testicle implants cost? I may be interested in that procedure if all goes well with the penis implant.

I haven't checked into those guys. Really just Elist and Reed. I'd like to know more about them though.

I think that the Elist implant is basically good, with some drawbacks that have been enumerated on this site and others. As with any of these procedures, know the risks and drawbacks, and make your decision accordingly. Doctors, like anyone else selling you a service, will respect you more if you do your due diligence, ask intelligent questions, and conduct yourself professionally. I think the testicle implants were $8,500.00 last summer, but can't remember for sure.

i dont want to sound rude or anything, but i waas wondering why on earth do so many guys on here want testicile implants? seriously, who really cares how big or small your testicles are??? u dont FK a girl with ur nuts. The reason i got penis surgery was to have a bigger dick so sex would be more enjoyable and to make me one of the ppl who have a bigger than average penis. Never have i ever thought id really like a better set of balls LOL

When I first stumbled across this forum, I thought the same way. As with penis size, I think men care more than women. Maybe I've stuck around for too long, but this place certainty has warped the manner in which I view my genitals.

The only reason I would consider it is to complete the package. It's like buying a luxury vehicle and adding miscellaneous options or buying a new suit and adding shoes, simply because you can and/or it's available. For others, they may genuinely have small testicles in relation to their penis or body and are looking for symmetry.

Finally, some ladies are into tea bagging.
