Anybody know Alter, Reed, or Solomon???

Hey guys,
I am interviewing doctors for potential reconstructive surgery and possible further enhancement at that time or at a later date.
Alter, Reed, and Solomon are three that I plan to contact (among others both listed on this site and elsewhere).
Does anyone have any personal experience with any of these doctors?
If so, how would you rate that experience and would you recommend them or not? In advance, thanks for your responses.

Really instead of asking for people's personal experiences, I should have just asked what kind of reliable information do people have about these doctors and any others that practice these procedures. I will not travel out of the country for any surgeon, but would love to hear info on any and all docs in the continental U.S. that work in this field.
So, let's hear it guys, please give me the good, bad, and the ugly so that you can help me in narrowing down the field for my interviews, consultations, and final choice.

Surely, somebody out there has heard something about some of these doctors. If not, and there are other American based doctors that you could recommend (or recommend against), please give me the feedback on them also.

Hey, I had recon by Solomon. He is phenomenal! Honest and up-front and talented. See my thread (One-month post-op for details). I know others have said they would rather have a urologist, but I disagree. I'd much rather have a plastic surgeon. Urologist are great for internal workings and all; but this is more of an aesthetic matter....and plasti surgeons know aesthetics, skin repair, tissue, etc. Anyway, Solomon is great, and caring.

Gary Alter seems to have by far the best reputation. However, he represents reality, which I don't think most of us here want to face. He doesn't do girth work as he doesn't think there is currently a procedure available which offers satisfactory results. I know I don't want to accept that and I suspect there are many here who have the same mentallity as me. We are all trying to convince ourselves that one of dermal grafts, FFT, PLGA, belloderm or alloderm are viable opitons, even though history and the urological/plastic surgery community tell us they aren't. Yes there will always be those who have good results, but the percentage of satisfied patients is amazingly small compared to other plastic surgery operations. If there was a decent option then it would be as popular amongst plastic surgeons as boob jobs. PE surgery could be such a lucrative market, but there is a good reason why it isn't. Only many of us don't want to accept it, as it means we'd have to accept our current size. We convince ourselves of absurd things like Elist's simple implant surgery isn't carried out by other surgeons because of a patent. Or that alloderm and belloderm success is more down to the Dr's skill than simply how our bodies deal with the foreign implant.

It's obvious the best advice is to go to Gary Alter and have revision and no further girth work. However, I'm in a similar position to you and have been for a long time and though I know it's the right advice, I don't want to take it myself as I still desperately want a bigger penis and would rather try and convince myself that a silicone implant, FFT or alloderm are viable options, rather than accept the truth that I'd be better off trying to come to terms with my size as it is.

Wow. Sobering. thanks so much.
My head (the big one/on my shoulders) is telling me to go with Alter and lose the fat nodules and accept the smaller penis.
However, my heart and ego are telling me to go with Solomon (or someone else) who will give me the girth and, hopefully, this time it will work out.
You guys are a GodSend. Thanks for your advice. I'm going to pray/meditate/further study on it for a while. Wish I'd never done this in the first place. Never should have answered that ad and gone to Culver City in the mid 90's. But, I'm thru beating myself up over it and hating my penis and the way it looks. I'll let you guys know what I finally decide.

Would it be possible for you to post a photograph of your penis, seekinghelp? Do you really need to reconstruct anything, or is it all in your head (no pun intended)?

You sound just like me. I've had 2 failed PE surgeries and have had one further revision, yet I still can't let go of the dream of a bigger penis. Dr Soloman seems to be the new kid on the block (in terms of messageboards) and also is using a new material. The combination of new Dr and new material are almost too much for me to resist. And on top of that we have a couple of guys here who seem pleased with their results following surgery with Soloman. But I don't think my penis could come back from another failed surgery. It's on the brink of being too far damaged to ever look normal again now, so a further fuck up would be the end. Unfortunately I'm still going to need some more surgery to make my current unit more presentable, but hopefully I'll ressit the temptation of risking another enlargement at the same time.
