I've had a dual augmentation surgery in 1999 which involved cutting my ligaments and injecting fat, which dissolved onlly to leave lumps of the fat in about 4 different places.
In 2002 or 2003 I had dermal graphs inserted, which resulted in them shrinking some and becoming detached to where they move around loosely with the left over injected fat. After dealing with other things in life and the passing away of a couple of relatives I am now back with the resources to fix these surgeries and move on with my life. This forum is the only place I have found other people who have been in similar situations and understand what it's like to struggle with these problems. There are some very smart and experienced members who I really look up to and are the only people I can talk to about these problems because most people really don't understand. I look forward to helping other people and getting reconstruction surgery so that I can move on. |

Hey Machine,
Thanks for sharing your situation. There are not many surgeons out there that can do what you need done.. The two that come to mind are Dr. Elist and Dr. Alter, both in LA... I do know that both of these dr.s are Urologists and surgeons which is important.. There are several dr.s out there that are "osteopathic" surgeons, which means they don't really specialize in any specific area of the body! Not a good way to go. I'm aware that Elist has done many reconstructions and might be a good choice, highly qualified, but it is my understanding that Alter is the about the best there is.. Brian Rosenthal is also a urologist, UCLA trained, which is good.. But i've heard he had some personal medical issues in the part year or so. Please keep us informed about who you are talking to and what they are saying... |
