Just want to first off thank you for all the previous moral support from all you great guys from this site ( Mark, Uncle, LastTime, Mustang etc etc ). Its been awhile since I posted and shared my Elist implant results, main reason is because I didnt want to be a downer for alot of you with my situation. So not a good time for me right now, had a major set back and to be honest pretty pissed about it. I guess thats the reason I decided to share this now, the more I think about it the more I get angry that I have to go through all this crap again, might as well share it with you all since everyone has the right to know positive and negative outcomes.
I received my Elist penile implant alittle over two months ago, everything seemed to be working out ok until about three weeks ago my implant came unstitched to one side and slipped downward. In the flacid state the implant protrudes out to one side making my penis look deformed. When in the erect state the implant will do the same as far as the protrusion goes, as well as start to slide downward toward the shaft of the penis. I cant have sex with my girlfriend because the thing hurts, plus its all lumpy and popping out to one side. Even when I was able to start having sex at 5 weeks like Elist said, the implant felt very tight and if I would go to deep thrusting in to much it would feel as if it was going to bust out of the skin. I just went in to talk to Elist the other day, he did however offer to fix this problem free of charge. At least he didnt try and charge me for this revision surgery, I would have really flipped my lid. The crappy thing about it is that I have to miss work and go through the surgery pain and healing shit all over again, really makes me mad that I spent all this money to have it not work properly. I did go by all his proper instruction with the babying, wrapping, no excercise, sex etc etc.. until he gave the ok, so I dont really even know how this happened. Elist also did give me the option to upgrade to an XXL size if I wanted for an additional 1500, have the XL now. Still deciding on that option, however I think ill just stick to having this fixed, if it malfunctions for a second time im having the whole thing pulled out and going the belloderm route. So thats my story, sorry to bust anyones ambitions for having the implant done by Elist. Just wanted to share what can happen, maybe for any of you that have the implant and still in the healing phase you should just give yourself extra time to heal properly, Even if Elist gives you the ok to do whatever it is your asking to do. Ill keep everyone posted, surgery is Wednesday |

Hi There:
I thought I might give you my opinion. I had the Elist implant also and had a similiar problem with it coming loose in the first six months. I knew of several other people who had the same problem (fix or removal not due to infection). I decided to have the implant removed because I didn't feel like going through the surgery and I just didn't like the feel of it. However, I know of several guys who had it fixed and they are pretty happy with it. If you don't have an infection then your recovery time with it being fixed will not be as bad because you've already had the implant put in and most of the healing is done on the penis. Good luck on your decision. |

The more I look at the patent of the implant the more I wonder how that heavy piece of silicone is supposed to stay stiched to the soft tissues of the penis. . . . I'm assuming that the stitches hold long enough for the encapsulation to form; then it doesn't really matter. What I have noticed though are the couple of people who didn't have it stitched (to create the forskin effect) and are extremely happy (Mark and Want More, for instance). I wonder if leaving it unstiched is the better option, although obviously not for those who don't want forskin or already have it; I mean from a surgical perspective. Maybe you should quiz Elist and tell us what he says Soldier.

Wow, another example of problems from the stitching, that is really something he needs to get a handle on, I feel for you guys, I can't even guess what it would feel like to have those stitches under the skin near my glans. I guess your right soldier (and mustang) and others too, that must be why I had so few problems. I feel fortunate. well best of luck to all you good gentlemen.

Hey Soldier77 - we feel for you but here's how to look at it. It must work for you and something as momentous as this does not always work first time.
It a bore to go through again but you know sometime to get what we want we have to work years and years - in the scheme of things you're lucky - it taken what - 3 - 4 months to get what you want. (even with revision) Put it in prespective and it won't seem so bad. good luck |

Oh yeah I asked! that was a main concern, he said it only drops for a few months once the supra pubic skin he realeased has relaxed to a certain point and the capsule also is done forming at about that point which helps, he explained that the implant isn;t THAT heavy that it will just keep streching the skin, it only stretches so much he said. it already seems like it is settling down to some degree, or slowing down I guess you could say. I streched this skin for 5 years already, I think the main drop I got was from the release of the suprapubic skin. If it ever would somehow get to a point where I thought is was getting too much, which I doubt, I would have it removed. That could be fun though.... to the knees, LOL!!

Do you guys think that the popping stitches are related to how big they guy's glans swell up when erect? It seems to me that if there is a lot of variation between flaccid and erect, then stitches are more likely to pop. Maybe those guys who have had popped stitches also have the greatest variation in size between erect and flaccid.
